AMENDMENT XXVI - The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.

"The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of age."

Child prodigy Adora Svitak says the world needs "childish" thinking: bold ideas, wild creativity and especially optimism. Kids' big dreams deserve high expectations, she says, starting with grownups' willingness to learn from children as much as to teach.

Perhaps the next generation 18 and under will bring more wisdom than is presently being exhibited by those over 18.

I invite any Citizen of any age to sign this petition.

Most Sincerely,

We can spend trillions fighting wars, we can spend billions taking care of natural catastrophies and calamaties, yet millions remain homeless, hungry, and destitute. Where, oh! where is the natural justice in that for a human being?

How does the “Blessings of Liberty” and the “General Welfare” of our constitution support those who fought in our wars and now are homeless and hungry, mainly because of what war did to their minds?

We salute the flag of this country and pay more than a fair share in taxes, yet our money is spent foolishly by our leaders and the poor among us are not being taken care of properly.

Perhaps our younger generation will see the social injustice more clearly and have the courage to change what this generation seems powerless to take action on, by holding our elected officials accountable to the tenets of the constitution.

everyone has the freedom to vote. those who don’t have photo id’s due to extreme rural areas, cities(where one uses public transportation) and the elederly should have means to be given that opportunity.

everyone’s vote must be accounted for honestly and not as the republicans are doing.

this is a wonderful country and i am proud to be an american.

it takes the people to change the establishment and policies. when in the course of human events……………..

a country cannot stand divided cause the elected officials want their share of “pork” and it truly hurts the homeless, veterans, senior citizens, unemployed while the rich get richer.the civil war ended years ago.

i grew up on beliefs of compassion, honesty, choices, right and wrong.

again, we the people………………….

This is a beautiful thought. We have to do so much better for our world’s future. Education, not indoctrination.
